Born in Texarkana (Texas side), to a pecan baroness and former Ad Man from New York City who deemed himself "Pecan Joe" as he had high hopes of running my mom's family pecan farm and his ultra-kitsch souvenir store empire. Unsuccessful, we packed our things when I was six and moved to Dallas. I think that was a good thing.

After years of "thinking about it," I've taken a step back from the ad world, escaped to the mountains, and delved into my other creative passion. Having started with pastels, I am exploring new mediums, learning new skills, and creating a body of work. It's not the perfect body, but I do my best.
